Nine important organizations and institutions have signed the “Pisa 365” Memorandum of Understanding, a three-year agreement to promote the city as a tourist and cultural destination of excellence, active all year round. The institutions involved are the Municipality of Pisa, the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce, the University of Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, the Palazzo Blu Foundation, the Pisa Theater Foundation, and the National Museums of Pisa.
The initiative, launched by the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, responds to the common need to consolidate existing synergies and pursue structured collaboration for the sharing of study, research, training, awareness-raising, and dissemination activities. The primary objective is to optimize the planning of city events, coordinate communication, and improve hospitality, avoiding overlaps and maximizing the impact of initiatives.

Pisa is a city with an inestimable heritage, not only historical and artistic but also academic and scientific. ‘Pisa 365’ aims to bring all these areas of excellence together to offer an unprecedented cultural and tourist experience. This agreement therefore represents a fundamental step towards more effective and synergistic management of resources.

The “Pisa 365” Protocol is valid for three years, and the parties undertake to draw up an annual activity report to evaluate the results and suggest possible future developments. This agreement lays the foundations for more efficient management and a more cohesive image of Pisa as a cultural and tourist capital, and is open to future participation by other bodies and institutions that share the vision and objectives of the project.

"The Protocol is a virtuous example of collaboration between institutions to promote the cultural, scientific, and artistic excellence of our city. – said the Rector of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Nicola Vitiello - The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies is proud to contribute to this network, convinced that the synergy between the academic world, public administration, and cultural operators is fundamental to making Pisa an increasingly attractive, dynamic, and welcoming destination throughout the year".
